Two fantastic golf course await you at Forest of Arden - The Arden Course and The Aylesford Course. Both courses were designed by Donald Steel and are located on the grand Packington Estate. The Arden Course
On the Arden Course, you can pit your wits against the same course professionals have been challenging for years. Forest of Arden has held numerous European Tour events, including the English Open and British Masters.
The par 72 course is a true test of golf, designed to make golfers play a wide range of shots. Its variety of tee boxes, water hazards and trees neatly outline the fairways, offering a thoroughly unforgettable golf experience

The Aylesford Course
Complementing the Arden Course is the recently redesigned Aylesford Course. The par 69 course is shorter in length than its sister course, yet it retains many of the Donald Steel hallmarks that Arden offers in its layout, bunkering, and green design.

For anyone who loves the game of golf, there are few places that offer such a stunning setting and range of course challenges than St. Pierre Country Club. It features two 18-hole courses that wind through some of the oldest and most prized trees in Europe.

The Old Course
The famous Old Course has played host to many top tournaments from the PGA Welsh Masters to the Solheim Cup and Dunlop Masters. The Mathern Course is shorter, yet presents its own unique challenges.
Ken Cotton first designed the Old Course in 1961 around an 11-acre lake lined with century-old trees. A giant 400 year-old chestnut rules the second fairway, requiring a test of skill to circumvent its reach. Hole 18 is one of the finest finishing holes you are likely to play. It measures 235 yards across the edge of a lake to a raised green, requiring a precision shot to the final putt.
The Old Course was remodelled in 2008 by European Golf Design architect Ross McMurray. Work included the reconstruction and repositioning of all bunkers and the construction of 18 new tee complexes, as well as significant work to improve drainage and irrigation. The 8th and 9th greens have also been rebuilt to USGA specification and the 7th hole remodelled to create a testing dogleg par 5 which is set to open in 2009.

The Mathern Course
The Mathern Course at St. Pierre Country Club is shorter than the Old Course, but equally as enjoyable with its stunning parkland design. The shorter length makes it ideal for an early morning game before work or a meeting. The Mathern Course is also a refreshing end to a day spent touring the surrounding attractions in Wales.
The Mathern Course was remodelled in 2007 by European Golf Design architect Ross McMurray. Work included the construction of 18 new tee complexes and the reconstruction and repositioning of bunkers. The project also included significant tree surgery and improvements to drainage and irrigation.

The two championship courses at Breadsall Priory offer distinct challenges. The Moorland Course is gently designed through the heart of the countryside. The Priory Course requires a higher degree of accuracy as you play through tree-lined fairways to small, well-protected greens.

The Moorland Course
The Moorland Course is considered some of the best golf in the region. Designed by Donald Steel, the Moorland Course opened in 1991, and features excellent views over the Derbyshire countryside. It offers a challenging layout of 6,028 yards and par 70, combining a fearsome rough with subtly contoured greens for a fair test of golf.

The Priory Course
Although the Priory Course at 6,120 yards is similar in length to the Moorland Course, it offers a much more challenging layout. The Priory Course at Breadsall Prory winds through steeply undulating parkland around the hotel and requires a high degree of accuracy through the tree-lined fairways. The very small greens add to the challenge of this course.

Dalmahoy is a renowned world-class golf venue with two very different, but equally inspiring courses. The legendary course designer James Braid created the East and West Courses at Dalmahoy to offer contrasting challenges for golfers of all abilities.

The East Course
In 2005, the prestigious East Course completed a £1 million redevelopment and is now a true Championship venue once more.
The East Course has hosted major championships such as the Solheim Cup in 1992, the Scottish PGA Championship on numerous occasions and the Scottish Seniors Open in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

The West Course
The West Course is the shorter of the two courses at Dalmahoy. However, the par 68 course still offers a superb challenge because of its tight fairways and small greens that demand accuracy out of every player. And the course requires even greater precision at the finish to navigate around the waters of the Gogar Burn.

There are two excellent dining options at Dalmahoy, Pentland Restaurant and the Long Weekend Café Bar.

Pentland Restaurant

The Championship course at Worsley Park measures 6611 yards with a challenging par of 71 and was opened in 1999. Designed by European Golf Design’s Ross McMurray in association with former Ryder Cup player Michael King it has played host to numerous notable events including several events on the Europro Tour and most recently the Challenge Tour.

The toughest holes at Worsley Park are probably the 3rd, 8th and 13th while the signature 7th hole is a delightful 177-yard par-3 which plays over a small lake to an undulating green guarded by a brook!

The par 71 championship course at Hollins Hall Country Club is designed to make the most of the natural features found in the Yorkshire Dales. It offers a variety of water hazards and ancient trees that line the long, undulating fairways.

Each hole offers multiple tee areas to challenge any level of golfer, and all the tees and greens are built to USGA standards. Hollins Hall Country Club has been the host venue for the PGA Europro Championship Tour.

There are three restaurants at Hollins Hall, all serving high quality food for that perfect post golf meal!

The Meon Course
Meon Valley Country Club features 18 championship holes located on the beautiful and undulating Hampshire countryside. The par 71 course cuts through an ancient English oak forest, offering many tight, tree-lined fairways, large bunkers and natural water hazards. Every hole on the Meon Course offers a challenging test of golf.

The Valley Course
The Valley Course at Meon Valley Country Club is a 9-hole golf course, but can be played as an 18-hole course at 5,758 yards and a par 70. The fairways are a bit wider, so it is slightly less demanding than the Meon Course. But the beauty is just as spectacular—the Valley Course is built around the ruins of an ancient Roman village.
