Golf Days UK has taken all necessary steps to make sure that the information supplied on this website is accurate. If for any reason this information changes, Golf Days UK will inform you as soon as possible.
A non refundable deposit of £40 per person must be paid at the time of booking. We reserve the right to request an additional amount where we have to pre pay the supplier to confirm your booking. The balance of your break must be paid 6 weeks before your break start date. If the full balance is not paid 6 weeks prior to your break start date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and keep the deposit. For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to your break start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
This can be made by credit card or debit card. Bank transfers can be accepted for all payment over £500, however the booking will not be confirmed until cleared funds are received by Golf Days UK. All credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% handling fee. Payment can be made by cheque, however the booking will not be confirmed until the cheque has cleared.
All pricing is based on per person sharing a twin or double room. All hotels and resorts will accept single rooms, but a supplement will apply. Golf Days UK will inform you this at the time of booking. Golf Days UK reserves the right to change any pricing on the website at any time.
Once an enquiry has been made, Golf Days UK will check availability with the hotel or golf course. As soon as this is done you will receive an email confirming your requirements. The booking is only confirmed when payment is received. Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email with all details of your stay.
Gift vouchers can be purchased through Golf Days UK to be used at any of the resorts we offer. These can be made out for any amount from £10. Vouchers are valid for 6 months or a specific date, unless otherwise agreed with Golf Days UK. To redeem the voucher, the recipient must contact us to book their break or round of golf. The resort will not accept the voucher directly. All voucher stays are subject to availability with the resort or course at the time of redeeming the gift voucher. Expired vouchers will not be accepted and all monies paid to Golf Days UK in respect to the expired voucher will not be refunded.
Golf Days UK will try to get you the tee times you require. This is sometimes not possible due to the golf courses being booked up already or there are various competitions running on the day. Golf Days UK will try to get you tee times as close to the requested time as possible. It is your responsibility to make sure you are at the 1st tee in plenty of time to tee off on your days of play. If you miss your tee time, Golf Days UK cannot be held responsible for no golf being played.
Golf Course Condition
Golf Days UK cannot be held responsible for any condition of the golf courses booked through us. If there are proposed works on the golf course, Golf Days UK will do their best to advise you of this information before you stay and at the time of the booking, however this is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the host golf course of when works are carried out.
Golf Days UK expects all members of your group to have an understanding of golf etiquette whilst playing on the golf courses booked through us. If you are asked to leave the course for any reason, no refund will be offered and Golf Days UK will accept no responsibility. All players are expected to wear recognised golf attire when playing on the golf courses. If the golf clubs deems anyone in your party not suitably dressed to their standards they have the right to refuse you golf. Golf Days UK will not refund and money or issue ‘green fee’ vouchers.
When booking your break with Golf Days UK, you accept all responsibility and liability for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your group.
Cancellations / Number Adjustments
Golf Days UK will accept a cancellation / number adjustment for any break up to 60 days before your break is due to commence. We will retain a 10% fee of the total booking for our admin costs. This is our standard terms, but this can vary between resorts and certain golf clubs. Cancellations / number adjustments can be made at any time but after the 60 days there will be no refund offered. To cancel a break with Golf Days UK, you must inform us in writing by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Golf Days UK recommends you carry golf insurance whilst on one of our breaks. We accept no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to equipment or players.
Prior to arrival: Should you decide not to travel due to bad weather Golf Days UK will contact the resort or hotel to see whether they can postpone your golf break and we will offer you an alternative date. If the hotel cannot postpone your break and you still decide not to travel, you will lose your booking fee.
During your stay: If the golf club decides the course is not playable on any of your days away, Golf Days UK will do their best to get you green fee vouchers to return at a later date to play the golf. This will strictly be the green fee only and no accommodation will be offered unless booked again through Golf Days UK. No cash alternative will be offered.Temporary greens/tees are all part of a golf courses operation especially during the winter months. No reduction will be offered if temporary tees or greens are in play.If the golf course is deemed playable then no green fee vouchers will be issued.
Special Conditions for Bad Weather (Gleneagles Hotel):
If staying at The Gleneagles Hotel on a Sunday night package, the golf is deemed complimentary. Should the golf courses be closed for whatever reason, no green fee vouchers will be offered. You can exchange the golf for spa treatments (subject to availability) during your stay. It is your responsibility to check with Golf Days UK or Gleneagles before you travel to ascertain the information about the golf courses. If the golf courses are closed and Gleneagles forecast them to be still closed whilst you are staying, Golf Days UK will do their best to rearrange for you. There may be a charge for this depending on your chosen dates / availability at the hotel.
If you have any complaints about your stay we recommend that in the first instance you take it up with manger at the hotel you are staying at. If no satisfactory response is received you may inform us in writing and we will endeavour to resolve the issue for you.
